In the complicated situation of Covid-19 pandemic in Vietnam, in order to support the prevention and control of the Covid 19 pandemic of Vietnam’s hospitals, especially to facilitate them in increasing the Covid 19 diagnosis and testing capacity. In early 2021, The Lawrence S. Ting Foundation implemented medical equipment distributions to hospitals in the north and south of Vietnam.

Specifically, in February 2021, we distributed a Real Time PCR LightCycler 480 II system to the Pham Ngoc Thach Hospital, and in April 2021, the system of human temperature measurement blackbody was distributed to the Central Geriatric Hospital. The total value of distributed medical equipment is over 1.6 billion VND.
