My Experience as a Graphic Design Intern at Lawrence S. Ting Foundation
Introduction
My name is Phi Khanh, and I am currently studying Graphic Design at Loyal Melbourne Institution of Technology (RMIT University) in Vietnam. Today, I am excited to share my meaningful experience during my internship at Lawrence S. Ting Foundation (LSTF).
Working Environment
As a graphic design intern, my daily tasks involved creating posts for social media platforms and contributing ideas to the Communications and Marketing team. Thanks to the enthusiastic support and input from all team members, I never felt alone in my work. On the contrary, I received constructive feedback that enhanced my designs, making them visually appealing and aligned with communication goals.
Every day at LSTF was an opportunity for continuous learning and development. I feel fortunate to work in a creative and passionate environment where everyone strives toward a common goal of delivering positive value to the community.
Opportunities to Participate in Humanitarian Projects
Despite only working for six months, I participated in many notable events organized by LSTF, such as Children Art Exhibition for Children with Disabilities (CwDs) and Paint Our Angels’ Wings Competition, aimed at raising awareness and giving a voice to disabled children in society. These events not only allowed the children to shine but also gave me a deeper appreciation for life as I witnessed their determination and desire to succeed. Additionally, the video I designed for Lawrence S. Ting Scholarship Ceremony was showcased for all students and guests at the event, filling me with pride as I contributed to such a meaningful occasion.
Memorable Moments
One of my most cherished memories during the internship was helping organize the Children Art Exhibition for CwDs. This event was not just an art showcase; it was a stage for disabled children to express their faith, hope, and optimism in life. Reading their heartfelt messages and admiring their artwork deeply moved me, highlighting their talent and passion. It also made me more grateful for what I have.
Seeing the promotional materials I meticulously designed displayed at the event filled me with pride and appreciation for this opportunity. The success of the exhibition and the positive feedback from attendees reminded me of why I was there: to make society a better place.
Acknowledgments to LSTF
Finally, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Marketing team and LSTF for allowing me to participate in such meaningful projects and contribute to bringing positive value to society. Thank you, LSTF, for helping me grow both professionally and through practical experience. I believe that with continuous effort, Lawrence S. Ting Foundation will continue to provide even greater value to the community. My experiences here will always motivate me to keep contributing and developing. I hope that what I have learned will help me become a more useful member of society and continue to contribute to noble missions in the future.
