Lawrence S. Ting Foundation always accompanies and support local authorities and people in needs to strengthen child education.

In April and May 2021, our foundation has awarded scholarships through the partnerships with Learning Promotion Associations in 4 districts in Ho Chi Minh City (District 7, District 8, Binh Chanh Commune and Nha Be Commune) as well as to Learning Promotion Associations in 63 Provinces and Cities across the whole country. These scholarships will be awarded to local poor/ financial disadvantaged and studious students.

In addition, we also sponsored scholarships through Funds/Associations in Ho Chi Minh City, such as The Sponsoring Association for Poor Patients in Ho Chi Minh City; The Sponsoring Association for People with Disabilities and Orphans in Ho Chi Minh City; “For the Poor” Fund of Ho Chi Minh City and Funds/Associations at Central level such as The National Fund for Vietnamese Children; Central Office of the Vietnam Learning Promotion Association in the South; Representative Office of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund in the South. The target beneficiaries for those scholarships are also students with poor/financial disadvantaged.

The scholarship distribution is one of Lawrence S. Ting Foundation’s annual activities. The total amount of scholarships awarded through the collaborations with Funds/Associations at both local and central levels as well as the Funds/Association in Ho Chi Minh City in 2021 is VND 4 billion and 950 million.
