Our foundation (LSTF) is delighted to announce our annual scholarship winners for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Lawrence S. Ting Scholarships are awarded to excellent students who have had financial difficulties that have prevented them from finishing their education. Students are chosen for the Lawrence S. Ting scholarship based on their outstanding academic performance, extracurricular involvement and community services.

This scholarship program is one small way we hope to support the current and next generation in Vietnam. Hopefully, with that precious gift, recipients will become people of value; not only to yourself, your family but also to society, and later on, will spread this spirit to other generations.

Each year, the preliminary evaluation of student applications is conducted by the selected universities. Following that, the LSTF will perform another round of evaluation (which will include a document review and an interview) to decide the final list of scholarship awardees.

As social distance restrictions tightened, we then conducted our conduct online interviews instead of face-to-face ones. We performed two phases to discover applicants who met the foundation’s requirements.

According to the results, 239 candidates matched the requirements out of a total of 279 applications nationwide.
