In mid-May, representatives from the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation (LSTF) paid a visit to the School for Children with Disabilities (CWDs) in Soc Trang and Tuong Lai School. We once again could see the lovely smiles of the CWDs and teachers here.
During this meaningful visit, LSTF had the opportunity to survey the knowledge of CWDs through the lessons designed for children with intellectual disability, and at the same time give an overall evaluation of training classes received by the school administrators and professionals.Furthermore, through the sharing from parents and observations on the digital classrooms’ current status, LSTF was able to better understand the advantages, difficulties as well as additional needs from the students and teachers here.
How heartwarming it is to know that these CWDs are having better conditions which can support their learning and cognitive ability development. This has been the main motivation for Lawrence S. Ting Foundation to always move forward on the charity journey to bring necessary support to the community.
