丁先生於1988年來到越南，選定胡志明市做為主要投資地點。

丁善理獎學金計劃於2006年推出，以資助本地傑出及清寒學生持續進修學習，此為提升學生競爭力的相關計劃之一。

2006年，越南高中的電腦教學仍以書本教材為主，並無實質的電腦設備，以供學生實質操作，學生對於學習資訊科技的興趣及實質了解仍有限。

除丁善理基金會獎學金計劃，我們基金會也透過國泰世華銀行之越南大樹計劃合作, 以共同協助窮困兒童就學。

基層的醫療機構(社區醫療站)被認為是整個醫療體系的基石， 目的是希望民眾以較低的時間成本、就近就醫。

為了協助於殘障者，為他們帶來正向的改變， 自2009年以來,我們基金進行 “愛心輪椅”計劃。至今，已捐贈27,483臺輪椅，以支持越南各地行動不便者。

為了支持偏遠地區的社區醫療站以提供社區成員基本服務，我們基金會與新順加工出口區綜合診所合作，組織了義診服務

其中的醫療計劃之一，我們與美國的非營利組織MedShare 合作，一同將醫療用品捐贈給越南醫療機構。

在芽皮縣醫院成立洗腎中心是一項急迫的需求及具有社會意義的一件事,也是偏遠地區患有腎臟衰竭病人能就近醫護的喜訊.

南西貢英文營的舉辦, 希望提供胡志明市貧困學生一個全英文學習的機會。在與Saigon South International School (SSIS)的共同合作下，根據學生的英文程度，設計不同程度的課程，以有效提升學習效益及學習興趣。

Since 2022, Lawrence S. Ting Foundation has started implementing the Our Better Angels project to create more opportunities for these children to access quality basic education. 

The Paint Our Angels' Wings Contest is held under the framework of the Our Better Angels project. This is a book illustration contest for children with disabilities, first organized in 2022.

For the first time, in the 2022 Christmas, Lawrence S. Ting Foundation will be hosting a year-end event in a combination of Children Art Exhibition and Xmas Market to celebrate our work progress in supporting children with disabilities as well as to call for donation. 

One Place One Story (OPOS) is a summer camp program organized annually by the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation (LSTF) in collaboration with local Vietnamese authorities. 

Lawrence S. Ting Foundation officially organizes the 2023 "Paint Our Angels' Wings" contest.
